Founded by Elnaz and Marthe-Hiev in 2024, YÂR Studio is more than a design practice. It is a movement - one that places both traditional artisans and emerging creatives at the center of the narrative. Each carpet becomes a collaboration across disciplines and generations, a story woven through time, a meeting place between cultures.

At the heart of YÂR Studio are the women weavers of Iran - artists whose hands carry generations of technique and storytelling. Their work is intricate and deeply skilled, yet often undervalued in an industry that elevates intermediaries over makers. We aim to shift that balance.

Alongside these master weavers, we collaborate with the next generation of Iranian designers and visual artists - giving space for experimentation, collaboration, and contemporary interpretation within a centuries-old craft.

Through our work, we invite the world to see Persian carpets not as objects, but as living narratives - carrying memory, identity, and connection, weaving bridges across borders.
